I hope you will forgive this diatribe, but your recent comments struck home with me. I was born into a Republican household and was guided by that thinking in my young years. Starting in college, I began to find myself in question of the values they set forth. Though I cannot say I am reformed, but consider myself a liberal independent and the past few years I have become a bit more vocal in my views. I agree whole heartedly with your comments on our current governor and have disliked him from the first mention of him. I also was in attendance at the lieutenant-governor debate when he was first elected and found Ms. Skillman to be a complete waste of space and a puppet of both business and her boss. I am in the process of reading more of your articles. I regret that I had not heard of you sooner. I also agree with the comments made by others on your article which was referred to me by a now dear friend. I wish you the best of luck in railing against the storm. You have one new supporter out here listening. Thank you for your time and patience with my rants, I look forward to reading more. Good health to you. Sincerely, George Arndt. Postscript: Two of my heroes have been Mike Royko and Harrison Ullman.
