I was going to review last night’s debate, which was so important that Boehner, et al, stamped their feet and demanded that the President move his speech to tonight, lest anyone miss it. And indeed, it was an excellent opportunity to display what the Grand Old Party has become. But “Cheers and Jeers” did a much better job of reporting on this event than I could have, so go read their summary. Right now!

Let me summarize Obama’s speech tonight:
I care about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs…but I haven’t done a damn thing to stimulate job growth. Let’s work together, as long as you do what I want; which is more government regulation and higher taxes.
Do we really need to hear him give the same, tired, old speech he’s given since his election. The best thing Obama could do for our economy is to resign.
But then, how would we ever recover from the Bush years? That, above all.
KurtL, if you think Obama is helping our economy “recover from the Bush years”, then you live on another planet. How long are you and Obama going to blame Bush for all Obama’s failed economic policies?
I suppose Obama gets a pass for his 4 years in office. It’s so juvenile. It’s his fault, not mine!
